Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer as well as a model and actress. Ali MacGraw is famous for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She grew up in an artistic family in New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of arts. The first job she had was a photo assistant. Then she moved on to modelling and acting. She received an award called the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's 1970 feature film Love Story was an international success, earning the actress the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films, MacGraw was declared the most successful female at the box office in history. Her footprints from 1972 and autograph were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
