Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cook book writer and Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002. It has since aired 27 seasons through 2020. Ina Garten began her professional career at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budgetary papers. Even though she found the job to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she was bored and purchased a small speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. It was a huge success for over 18 years, until she opted to let it go. Her next step was to write the first book. There were many other cookbooks and magazine columns follow. In the meantime, she was also a part of the Food Network television show too started and soon became a hit. Additionally, she offers everything from kitchen equipment to tools and storage containers. Ina is a self-taught cook that hasn't attended any cooking classes, nor employed in a kitchen. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her easy cook style are very well-known. Her most well-known recipes include quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese using Beef Bourguignon as well as Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
